Family Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum outpatient Family Medicine care.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, etc.), and preventive health across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient education, and optional teaching/research.
• Maintain electronic health records with administrative support.
• Average 18–22 patients/day with flexible scheduling.

Best-in-Class Qualifications Required

• Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent from a recognized Indian medical college (registered with WFME).
• GMC registration with licence to practise (required).
• PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 (or equivalent route — e.g., MRCGP-INT, GP Accelerated Pathway).
• IELTS (Academic) overall 7.5 / OET grade B in all components.
• CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in General Practice OR enrolment in NHS GP Induction & Refresher scheme.
• Minimum 5 years of post-MBBS clinical experience in primary care.
• DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) clearance.
• Compliance with WHO Code of Practice on international recruitment.
• Preferred: MRCGP, prior NHS experience, or multilingual skills.
