Emergency Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, stabilization, and resuscitation of critically ill and injured patients.
• Perform high-acuity procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, fracture reduction, point-of-care ultrasound.
• Manage diverse patient populations across all ages with efficient throughput.
• Collaborate with trauma, cardiology, neurology, and critical care teams.
• Participate in quality improvement, stroke/STEMI protocols, disaster preparedness, teaching.
• Utilize advanced EHR systems with scribe support.

Best-in-Class Qualifications Required

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized Indian medical college.
• ECFMG certification (required).
• Successful completion of all USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, and 3.
• ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABEM.
• Minimum 5 years of actual post-residency clinical experience.
• Unrestricted state medical license, DEA, ACLS/ATLS/PALS.
• Preferred: Fellowship in ultrasound, toxicology, critical care, or paediatric EM.
